ArtWorks For The Heart of
The Rockies seeks to weave
the arts into the fabric of our community by
providing
resources and programs designed to nurture artistic
expression and
broaden participation in the arts.
The International Feltmakers Association was
formed
to foster worldwide interest in felt, to promote members'
work and keep members in contact with one another
or exchange of knowledge and ideas.
A force in the
textile field since 1977, the non-profit
Surface Design Association is committed to education
on all levels
of expertise and interest. SDA seeks to
raise the level of excellence in surface design by
inspiring creativity and encouraging innovation through
all its undertakings.
Currently the organization has 4,000 members;
of these 600 are international members. They include
a broad spectrum of textile practitioners including
studio artists, industrial designers, educators, technicians, curators, gallery owners, interior designers, students,
and enthusiasts.

disciplines. The Web site serves to connect the artists and their work with
private collectors, gallery owners, interior designers, corporate art buyers,
public art administrators, and art enthusiasts in general!
The 18th Annual arts celebration in Colorado's largest historic district - downtown Salida, Colorado. Visitors stroll Historic Downtown streets, enjoys sights and sounds of the visual and performing arts showcased in over 40 galleries, restaurants and shops.
