A combination of techniques by Felt Artist P J Bergin integrates two natural materials – felted wool and silk chiffon. Stretched over a wooden frame, Glow Boxes™ project from the wall approximately 4", adding drama to any space.

Traditionally, art is lit from the outside. But how can the artist add intrigue by projecting light from inside the work? The use of LED lights now makes this technique possible. Under areas of solid felt, a glow escapes. Elsewhere, expanses of translucent silk chiffon create focal points of starlight brightness.

The finished work creates its own presence using the magic of color and shadow from within. Each piece is wired for 110v plug in.
